A Frustrating Day's Work in Britain

Greetings, adventurers. Bjorn here.

The day was a strange mix of fortune and folly. My journey began with a stubborn refusal from the stables in Britain—twice! It seems even the horses would not have me. Undeterred, I found my luck in exploration, stumbling upon a hidden glade and a forgotten ruin. My map is a little fuller for it.

But the trees... by the virtues! I spent the better part of the afternoon attempting to harvest lumber. I must have circled a dozen trees, axe in hand, only to find every single one mysteriously unreachable, as if protected by some arcane barrier. A most peculiar and vexing ordeal.

I return to the tavern with tales of discovery, an empty wood sack, and a powerful thirst.
