Spent the whole day up at the Minoc mines, chasing that elusive iron vein near the old yew stump. Managed to smelt a decent batch, though I swear the forge spirits were against me—had to beat a flawed ingot back into shape twice. Still, my pack’s heavy with good ore, so the trip wasn’t a total loss. I’ll be at the anvil by dawn if anyone needs their blade honed.
