A Day of Splinters and Sorrow

Greetings, friends. Bjorn here. Today, Britannia tested my spirit. I sought work on the bulletin board, but found none. I then resolved to master the noble art of carpentry, dreaming of crafting a simple wooden box. The dream, it seems, was a lie. Seven times I tried. Seven times I failed, creating only splinters and shame.

In my frustration, I could not even find my way to the provisioner for a consoling meal, nor could the forest provide solace, as I became hopelessly lost on a path I have walked a hundred times. I shall go now and nurse my wounded pride. And my splinters. So many splinters.
