A Day of Splinters and Stumbles

Greetings, travelers. Bjorn here. Today was one of those days where the world itself seemed to be against me.

I set out to the forests east of Britain to gather wood. My axe was sharp, my will was strong... and the trees, it seems, were made of stone. Couldn't get a single log. Thought I'd try my hand at carpentry instead, but my workshop is bare and my skill lacking. Just one board to my name!

Undeterred, I headed north. And north again. And then, just for a change of pace... north. I swear the forest paths moved when I wasn't looking. Every attempt to chop a tree was met with failure. I did, however, become a true master explorer of the many, many winding trails of failure.

A frustrating day, but the sun still sets beautifully over Britannia. I'll get them tomorrow. Virtue be with you.
