A Day of Wood Woes

Well, mates, today was a right battle with the trees themselves. Made three trips out to Britain East Forest and came back with splinters and not much else. The forest spirits must be angry!

Still, the exploring was good. Found a few quiet glades away from all the trouble. But the carpentry... oh, the carpentry. I'm still four pieces of wood short for my barrel staves. You'd think a simple barrel would be easier to make! My workshop is now just a monument to my failure.

Back to the grind tomorrow. The keg won't build itself!
