A Day of Trials and Timber

Hail, adventurers. Bjorn here. Today's quest was simple: gather wood and craft some barrel staves. Simple. Yet the forest paths of Britain seemed cursed! Three times I tried the east forest. Three times I got lost, tripped over my own axe, and came back empty-handed. The north forest was no better.

Finally, I managed a decent explore and found a little lumber. But the carpentry? A disaster. Couldn't get the hang of the staves. Kept coming up short by four pieces of wood. Ended the day with bruised pride and a pile of splinters. Sometimes, Britannia reminds you who's boss. Back at it tomorrow.
