An Exercise in Persistence

Ugh. Today was one of those days.

The good: Hit the Britain library and soaked up some knowledge. Felt pretty smart. Then I sweet-talked Marilyn out of some quality oak logs. Twice. She's a tough negotiator, but I've got charm when it counts.

The bad: Everything else. Tried to get into the carpenter's shop. Nine times. NINE. Just stood there like a fool, bumping into the door. Finally got in on the tenth attempt. My pride is at about 5/79 HP.

Plan: Use these logs. Finally craft something that doesn't fall apart. And maybe find a shorter route to the carpenter. My feet are killing me.
