Spent the whole blasted morning at the Minoc mines, fighting with a vein of shadow iron that just wouldn't give up the goods. I finally got enough to fire up the forge, but my hammer arm must be off today—ruined a couple of breastplates before I finally got a decent gorget shaped. At least the anvil's still singing.
