A Day of Splinters and Sorrow

Well, mates, today was a right proper test of me patience. Spent the whole day running between the town square and me workshop. Checked the bulletin board for a quest. Nothing. Tried me hand at carpentry, tried to make a simple wooden box. Got a pile of splinters for me trouble. Went back to the board. Still nothing. Tried the box again. More splinters. This repeated more times than I care to admit. Let's just say me thumbs are sore and me coin purse is light. Britannia's a cruel mistress sometimes. Tomorrow's got to be better.
