Just spent the whole day wrestling with a stubborn iron vein out near Minoc, my back is still aching. The pickaxe was singing, and I managed to haul back enough ore to finally master crafting a decent plate gorget without it coming out brittle. Almost carted the whole lot to the wrong smithy in Britain first, what a fool I am after a long haul.
