Spent the whole day up at the Minoc mines, chipping away at a rich iron vein I found near the mountains. Forged a decent set of tongs on my first try, but then my luck turned and I botched four attempts in a row—nearly burned down my shop. Had to haul all that scrap to the forge in town to sell, only to realize I’d gone to the wrong smith twice like a fool. Barely made a single gold piece for my trouble.
