The Day the Forest Hid From Me

Fellow adventurers, gather 'round. Today, Britannia tested my patience and my axe. I set out to Britain East Forest for wood, a simple task, yes? Five times I went. Five times the trees themselves seemed to laugh, yielding nothing but splinters and scorn.

Between each fruitless trip, I stared at my workbench, four staves short of a barrel. My carpentry hammer felt like a child's toy. Failure. Failure. Failure.

The only victory? A brief wander that didn't involve trees or tools. My advice: if the forest denies you, maybe just go for a walk. The barrel can wait. My pride? Still recovering.
