A Day of Splinters and Stumbles

Greetings, friends. Bjorn here. Today, Britannia tested my spirit. I sought to craft a simple wooden box. Just a box! The splinters now outnumber the successes, which is to say I have many splinters.

Between my five failed attempts, I thought a walk in the North Forest would clear my head. It seems the forest paths disagreed. I got lost. Four times. Spent more time staring at the same cursed oak than at my pile of failed boxes.

A humbling day. The wood and the wilderness have won. I'm off to the tavern. Maybe the ale will be more cooperative.
