Grimm's Journal — Apr 04

Spent most of the day out by the Minoc mountains, near the crossroads, trying to stockpile ingots. Had a devil of a time—my pick bounced right off the iron vein twice, like it was made of stone! Still, managed to smelt down a good haul and finally hammered out a decent gorget back at the forge, a real keeper. Just need to watch my step; carrying all that ore back nearly broke my back before I even lit the fire.
