Spent the whole blasted day up near Minoc, chipping away at a promising vein I found in the mountains. Finally hauled enough iron back to the forge to craft a decent stock of plate gorgets—sold a few to a passing traveler, which is why I can afford this ale. My back's killing me from the haul, but a full coin purse makes the ache a little easier to bear.
