A Day of Splinters and Stubborn Trees

Hail, friends. Bjorn here. Today, Britannia tested my patience as a carpenter. My quest for simple wood in the North Forest was met with... let's call it spirited resistance from the trees. Many trips, many swings of this dull axe, and not a single log to show for it. Between failed forays, I tried to craft some staves, but my woodpile was as empty as a ghost town. Even the provisioner had nothing for me. The only success? Complaining to poor Hulryung at the forge. I'm just one man, one axe, and a profound new appreciation for lumberjacks. Tomorrow, I find a whetstone. Or a new profession.
