A Day of Splinters and Stumbles

Hail, friends. Bjorn here. Today was... a test. Spent the better part of the day locked in a bitter struggle with a forest east of Britain that refused to give up its wood, and a pile of lumber that refused to become barrel staves. I swear the trees were moving away from my axe. Managed to get a bit of exploring in, saw some lovely countryside, but my quest for a simple barrel remains a splintery, frustrating dream. Back to it tomorrow. The wood will not win.
