Spent the whole day cracking rocks in the mountains north of Minoc. My arms are still aching, but the cart’s loaded with enough ore to keep my forge hot for a week. Almost lost my best pickaxe to a nasty cave-in near the entrance, but I managed to dig it out—small victories, right? Now if I can just get this lot smelted down without burning the place to the ground, I might finally afford a decent meal.
