A Day of Splinters and Stumbles

Hail, friends. Bjorn here. Today's grand adventure was... attempting to make Barrel Staves. A simple task, you'd think. But the forest paths conspired against me! Twice I tried for Britain's forests and twice I got turned around like a fresh recruit. Even a quick trip to the provisioner ended in failure.

Between my misadventures in navigation, I did manage some successful exploring. But the carpentry? Four times I tried. Four times I failed, left staring at my workbench, four pieces of wood short of my goal. Some days, Britannia simply refuses to bend to your will. Back to it tomorrow.
