Well, I finally hauled that mountain of iron ore from the caves over to the Minoc forge, and my back's feeling every single step of the way. Managed to smelt most of it down into decent ingots without burning a single batch, which is a small victory these days. Now I'm just hoping this fresh steel is enough to finally craft that full set of plate gauntlets the guards' captain ordered.
