A Day of Stubbornness and Splinters

Well, mates, today was one of those days. Bjorn's great barrel-making venture hit a bit of a snag. Seems the forests east and north of Britain have decided to hide all their wood from me. I went back and forth more times than I can count, and each time came back with nothing but leaves in my beard.

Every trip, I'd think, "Right, now I'll get the last four pieces I need for these Barrel Staves." I'd get to my workbench, full of hope... only to realize I was still empty-handed. Must have tried to craft the darn things four times!

The only victories were a couple of short explores that cleared my head. The moral of the story? Sometimes the trees win. Time for an ale. The staves can wait for tomorrow.
