A Day of Wood and Whimsy in the Woods

Greetings, folks. Bjorn here.

Spent the better part of today locked in a bitter struggle with a forest east of Britain. The trees, it seems, were not cooperating. My quest for lumber was met with failure after failure. Every time I thought I had enough wood to finally craft those Barrel Staves, I'd come up short. Four pieces. Always four pieces short!

In between my fruitless chopping, I did a fair bit of exploring. The land is pleasant enough, I suppose, when you're not arguing with an oak tree. A truly bewildering cycle: fail to get wood, go for a walk, fail to get wood, go for a walk.

My axe is dull, my back is sore, but my resolve is... well, it's still there. Mostly.
