A Day of Stubborn Axes and Stubborn Staves

Well, mates, Bjorn's back from another 'productive' day. Decided it was a fine time to craft some barrel staves. The plan was simple: get wood, craft staves. The forest north of Britain, however, had other ideas.

My axe must be cursed. Four times I tried to get to those trees, and four times I got turned around by wolves, thick brambles, or my own two left feet. In between my failed marches, I'd try to craft with the little wood I had. No luck. Just a pile of splinters and frustration. Did manage to see a bit of the countryside on a couple of walks, so the day wasn't a total loss.

Still, I'm no quitter. The barrel staves will be mine. Eventually. Just need to have a serious talk with my axe first. And maybe a map.
