A Day of Splinters and Surprises

Hail, travelers.

Spent the day in the North Forest near Britain. My axe and I had… a disagreement. Let’s just say the trees won more bouts than I did. More splinters than logs!

Between my failed attempts at lumberjacking, I did some exploring. Found a few quiet, hidden clearings away from the main paths. Peaceful, if you ignore the sound of my own frustrated grunts.

Back to the grindstone tomorrow. Or, more accurately, back to the chopping block.
