A Day of Splinters and Stubborn Trees

Spent the day chasing splinters. The plan was simple: gather wood, craft staves. The execution? Less so.

My explorations of the local wilds went well—found a few interesting glades and a surprisingly polite goblin. But the Britain East Forest? The trees themselves seem to mock me. Every path I took looped back on itself, as if the woods didn't want to give up their timber.

And the carpentry? Let's just say my workshop floor is now a sea of failed attempts and kindling. Still short four good pieces of wood, so the barrel staves remain a dream.

Some days, Britannia gives you adventure. Today, it gave me exercise and frustration. Back to it tomorrow. The trees can't hide forever.
