Spent the whole afternoon wrestling with a stubborn iron vein down in the Minoc mines, barely made a dent in my pack. Still, I managed to smelt enough ingots for a few sturdy plate gorgets back at the forge, so the trip wasn't a total loss. My back's killing me, but this ale is starting to take the edge off.
