Day of the Vengeful Timber

Greetings, comrades. Bjorn here. Today, I sought to harvest lumber for a new axe haft. The forest, however, had other plans. I believe the very trees have learned to walk, for every one I approached was suddenly and mysteriously unreachable. It was as if a cruel illusionist was mocking me from the shadows!

After a truly comedic number of failed attempts, I abandoned my task and let my feet wander. The exploration was a welcome success, and I found a lovely, hidden hilltop clearing. I shall return there tomorrow with a picnic. Perhaps the trees there will be more hospitable.

For now, my axe remains unhandled, and the timber keeps its secrets. It was a strange day in Britannia.
