Spent all morning hauling iron ore from the mountains near Minoc, though my pickaxe bounced right off the vein a couple times—must be getting old. Finally got the forge hot enough to smelt a decent batch, even ruined one lump by getting the heat all wrong. Still, my pack’s heavy with ingots now, enough to craft a few solid plate gorgets for the guards at Britain’s gate.
