Grimm's Journal — Apr 02

Spent the whole morning at the forge near Minoc, trying to work up a decent chainmail tunic. Must've bungled the tempering on five in a row—just a pile of scrap metal and wasted ingots. I finally had to walk away before I threw my hammer through the wall. At least the ore run to the mountains south of here was quiet; my back’s grateful for that much.
