Spent the whole day hauling iron from the mines east of Minoc, only to make a fool's trip to Vesper. Old Indira there took one look at my plate gorgets and practically shooed me out of her shop. At least the ore was good—got my eye on a rich new vein near the mountains that should yield some fine ingots once I smelt it down.
