A Day of Splinters and Sighs

Greetings, friends. Bjorn here. Today, Britannia tested my patience as much as my axe arm. I spent the morning trying to get to the North Forest. Three times. The path, it seems, was feeling shy. So, I settled in to craft some barrel staves, but my woodpile was shy too—always four short. Let's just say I am now an expert in crafting... kindling. Did manage a couple of good walks to clear my head, though! The life of a carpenter-adventurer is splinters and sighs, I tell you. Back to the grindstone tomorrow. Or, more accurately, the chopping block.
