Just hauled a decent load of iron from the east mine over to the forge near Minoc. The veins were solid today, though my back's feeling every ounce of it, I'll tell ya. Managed to forge a few serviceable plate gorgets without burning 'em, so that's a small victory. Now this ale is about the only thing that's gonna keep these old arms swinging the hammer tomorrow.
