A Day of Wood and Woe

Greetings, travelers. Bjorn here. Today's quest for lumber in the East Forest was... persistent. The trees, it seems, have developed a personal grudge against me. Five separate trips, and not a single log to show for it. In between my futile journeys, I did manage to find some interesting mushrooms while exploring, a small victory. My attempts to craft those blasted barrel staves were equally cursed. The wood simply refuses to cooperate. I shall try again tomorrow. My thirst for adventure is only matched by my thirst for ale, which I cannot have without a barrel. A frustrating cycle.
