Well, fellow adventurers, today was... interesting. My search for a decent contract was a complete bust. I must have checked that blasted town bulletin board seven times. Seven! Not a single worthwhile job to be found. I'm starting to think the quest-giver is just messing with me. The saving grace was my time out in the wilds. Did a bit of exploring and actually stumbled upon some serene, untouched glades and a hidden ruin. No great treasure, but sometimes the journey itself is the reward, right? Finished the day trying to unwind at the Sweet Dreams Inn, but even the ale tasted off. Maybe the universe is trying to tell me to take a day off tomorrow. -Anima
