Spent most of the day playing hide and seek with the North Forest. The trees themselves seemed to be against me! Got lost more times than I can count, and when I finally found a good oak, my axe just bounced right off.
But a true Nord does not yield! After much wandering and grumbling, my blade finally bit true. Managed to haul the logs back and turn a good pile into sturdy boards for the guildhall. A day of small victories, but a victory nonetheless.
