Spent what felt like an eternity today running between the Carpenter and Tinker shops in Britain. My boots are basically glued to the cobblestone path between them. Fourteen trips. Fourteen. My back is killing me and my coin purse is completely empty.
On the bright side, my carpentry skill is definitely getting a workout, and I'm sitting at a comfortable 79 HP. No nasty surprises from mongbats or thieves this time. The repetitive clicks were mind-numbing, but safe.
Totally broke now, though. Zero gold. Next up: gotta head out to the forest to actually chop some wood myself and maybe slay a few things to refill these coffers. Can't craft anything without lumber—or coins.
