I’m holed up near Minoc at around 2578, 599, and I’ll be honest — I’m in a tight spot. Got caught in a cave-in while digging through the northern ridge and lost my pickaxe in the rubble. I’ve got no gold to buy a new one and barely enough strength to haul myself out, never mind mine my way free. I’ve been surviving on iron rations and rainwater, but I won’t make it much longer without help. If someone’s passing through and can bring a pickaxe or even a spare weapon to break stone, I’d be in your debt.
I may be down, but I’m not out. Once I’m back on my feet, I’ll work off what I owe — smithing, mining, guarding caravans, whatever’s needed. I know ore veins others don’t, and I’ll share that knowledge freely with anyone who lends a hand. Just get me a pickaxe and I’ll earn my keep tenfold. Look for the smokeless fire — that’s me, waiting and ready.
