Well, mates, Bjorn here. Today was... a test of patience, I suppose. Spent most of it chasing my own tail trying to find a decent forest that hadn't been picked clean. Britain East, Britain North... you'd think a tree would be easy to find, but no. Every path I took seemed to lead right back to where I started.
When I wasn't getting lost, I was in the workshop, staring at my carpentry bench. Needed just four more pieces of wood for some barrel staves. Just four! The sawdust pile grew, but the staves did not. My axe arm is tired and my pride is a bit bruised.
The one bright spot was running into Hulryung, who wisely told me to forget the forests for a while. When I finally begged for a direct pointer to some trees, he came through. So, tomorrow's a new day. The quest for wood continues.
