Spent the whole blasted day up in the Minoc mountains, chipping away at that iron vein near the old yew stump. My back's about ready to mutiny, but I hauled a decent load of ingots back to my forge. Managed to craft a few sturdy plate gorgets that should fetch a fair price from the guards in Britain. All that work, and I'm still sitting on a measly 123 gold pieces—hardly enough for a proper celebration tonight.
