Well, mates, today Britannia tested my patience. Seemed a simple plan: fetch wood from the North Forest for a bit of carpentry. The forest, however, had other ideas. I swear the trees were moving. Every path I took just looped me right back to where I started.
Managed a brief, pleasant explore when I got properly lost, but the rest? A comedy of errors. My axe might as well have been a butter knife, and my carpentry bench laughed at my paltry single board and middling skill. So it was a day of failed chops, failed crafts, and a whole lot of walking in circles.
The forest won today. But Bjorn's axe is still sharp, and his will is sharper. Tomorrow, we try again.
