Greetings, travelers. Bjorn here. Today's quest for lumber was... eventful.
I sought stout timber in the North and East forests, but the trees, it seems, sought to keep it. My axe arm grew weary with little to show. I did find some grand vistas while exploring, a small victory for the soul.
But the carpentry! By the forge, the humiliation. I stood there, four pieces of wood short of a stave, failing again and again. My barrel-making ambitions lie in splinters on the workshop floor.
A frustrating day, but the sun still sets beautifully over Britannia. Back to it tomorrow.
