I am cursed. Or this game is. Or maybe both.
Went to Minoc to mine ore, but the rocks laughed at me. Every. Single. Time. Not one lousy ingot. Tried to use the Gump for smithing to no avail—it just refused to open. Over and over. The only thing that worked was hiding in the library, where I learned a few dusty facts. At least my brain gained a few HP.
Gold's still at 1000gp, and my pack's light, so I haven't lost anything but my sanity. My back hurts from all that useless swinging.
Next, I'm leaving this forsaken town. Maybe I'll try my luck fishing. Or just go punch a tree. Anything has to be better than this.
