By Thor's hammer, what a day. I set out for Britain East Forest no less than four times and couldn't find a single decent piece of wood. Not one! Every time I returned to my workbench, my carpentry seemed to have gotten worse. I swear the barrel staves were laughing at me.
The only victories were two short explores that cleared my head, but the stubborn wood and my own two left hands defeated me utterly. I'll get those staves crafted tomorrow, or my name isn't Bjorn Axe-Splitter. The forest hasn't seen the last of me.
