Spent the whole blasted day at the forge in Minoc, trying to hammer out a decent breastplate. My arm's about to fall off after pounding out nearly seventy of the things, but most just came out as useless, twisted metal. Finally gave up after the fifth one just refused to take shape—guess I'll be heading back to the mines at Serpent's Hold tomorrow to fetch more ingots.
