Chivalry

Chivalry is the paladin’s holy magic (AOS era). It needs no reagents — instead it runs on tithing points, which you gain by donating gold at a shrine (“I wish to tithe”), plus a little mana. Abilities are cast from the Book of Chivalry and scale with the Chivalry skill (and your Karma, which makes holy effects stronger).

You can’t cast Chivalry without tithing points. Visit any shrine and offer gold to convert it into tithing points (stored on your character). Each ability spends a set number of points per cast, so keep your tithing topped up.
